Research Days in the Communication, Cultural, and Creative Industries (DICAS)

The Research Days on Communication, Cultural, and Creative Industries (DICAS) is an international academic conference co-organized by the Master’s Program in Communication and Management of Creative Industries (MCGIC) at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP).

The 2027 edition marks the 10th anniversary of the MCGIC, celebrating a decade of interdisciplinary research, teaching, and professional engagement in the fields of communication, media, culture, and the creative industries.

The conference aims to promote dialogue among academic institutions, the business sector, and public institutions, while encouraging innovative research on the economic, social, technological, and cultural transformations affecting the creative and cultural industries worldwide.
