CALL FOR PAPERS
11TH CITCEM CONFERENCE
25-27 Nov. 2026
Knowledge Communities: Practices, Circulation and Transmission
CITCEM invites national and international researchers, from all over the world and from multiple disciplinary areas, to reflect on the role of communities as spaces for the creation, transmission and transformation of knowledge over time. This approach arises from ongoing discussions about the priorities of knowledge, its application and its practices. Over time, who has the power to determine the relevance and legitimacy of knowledge and scientific production?
The 11th CITCEM Conference is part of this broad conceptual framework and welcomes theoretical reflections and case studies from comparative, diachronic and multidisciplinary perspectives. It encourages contributions that bring together different territories, epistemic traditions and temporalities, that value non-hegemonic practices and that challenge narratives centered on dominant models of knowledge.
