PhD candidate in Heritage Studies – specialization in Museology, University of Porto. Ph.D. grant holder by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), with the project “(De)colonial narratives in museums: instruments for the (de)construction of racism in Portugal” (2021.05924.BD). Researcher at CITCEM – Transdisciplinary Research Center “Culture, Space and Memory”, where she integrates and supports the organization of the activities of the Research Group “Education and Societal Challenges”. She holds a degree in Art History from the NOVA University of Lisbon (2014), a Master in Documentation and Information Sciences from the University of Lisbon (2018) and a Master in Museology from the University of Porto (2021). Editorial assistant of the journal MIDAS – Museums and Interdisciplinary Studies. Her research interests are in the relationship between museum narratives and social construction, particularly with regard to issues related to colonialism, coloniality and racism.
