The live stream will feature MEDINFOR’s founders, Professor Zeny Duarte and Professor Armando Malheiro, as well as representatives from UFBA and U.Porto, Professor José Carlos Sales and Professor Fernanda Ribeiro, under the coordination of Professor Daniel Branco (UFBA).

A meeting to present the event, discuss current issues, and reflect on the challenges and advances in medicine in the information age.

The Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and the University of Porto (U.Porto) are organizing the 7th International Colloquium “Medicine in the Information Age” (MEDINFOR), which will be held in person from November 3 to 5, 2026, at the Federal University of Bahia, in Salvador, Brazil.

The Colloquium is chaired by Professor Zeny Duarte de Miranda (UFBA) and Professor Fernanda Ribeiro (University of Porto), with Professor Armando Malheiro da Silva (University of Porto) serving as Honorary Chair. The organizing committee brings together leading researchers from both universities, upholding the tradition of scientific rigor and academic cooperation.
