The videos of the 3rd OIC Session 2021/22, entitled “Anonymous protagonists in old wars: women and children between 1700 and 1815“, are already available on CITCEM’s YouTube channel. The session was proposed by researcher Evaristo C. Martínez-Radío Garrido (Transaction Values/Values in Transition) and took place on October 15, 2021.

The participants were Ismael Sarmiento Ramírez, with Utilizados y a la vez perseguidos: Vicisitudes of the Gitana minority during the modern wars in Spain, Katherine Astbury and Abigail Coppins, with Women and children as prisoners of war in Britain during the French Revolution, María Zozaya Montes, with Un estudio desde la alteridad: mujeres y niños entre la Guerra de la Independencia y la prisión (1780-1816) and Evaristo C. Martínez-Radío Garrido, with The fundamental role of women played in view of the captivity of men. The case of Ignacia Llobera in the Peninsular War.
