Call for R&D Projects in all Scientific Fields 2025

Applications between November 27, 2025 and March 11, 2026

On October 31, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) published the Call for R&D Projects in all Scientific Fields 2025.

Applications run from November 27, 2025 to March 11, 2026 and must be submitted in English on the platform myFCT.

Scientific research and technological development projects (IC&DT), with a maximum duration of 36 months and maximum funding per project of 250 thousand euros. The budget for this category is 80 million euros to support a total of 320 projects.

Exploratory research projects (PEX), with a maximum duration of 18 months and maximum funding per project of 60 thousand euros. The budget is 24 million euros to support a total of 400 projects. For more information, visit the FCT website.
