The III International Congress – Cities in History, on the theme of Economy, will take place between October 25 and 27, 2023, in Guimarães.

The Congress is organized in sections ranging from the Ancient, Medieval, Modern, and Contemporary City, to the City of the Present and the Future. In addition to spontaneous communications, each section will have a contribution from a Portuguese researcher and another from a researcher from outside Portugal, so that we can have an overview of the situation on this theme in Portugal and internationally.

Those interested in participating in the congress should submit their proposal by February 28, 2023, using the form available on the congress website https://ch.guimaraes.pt/submission

Accepted languages for submission: Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
