The Study Group on Modern Portuguese Novels, under the CITCEM research unit of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto, was created in 2016 and brings together a group of researchers from different study cycles. Given the importance of the corpus of this literary genre in the context of Portuguese culture, CITCEM, in partnership with the Portuguese Army Library, intends through this project to bring together in the same space the important corpus<\/em> bequeathed to us by the writers of the 17th and 18th centuries.
