Alexandre Matos<\/strong> has a PhD in Museology from the University of Porto. He has been an assistant researcher at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto since August 2025, as part of CITCEM<\/a> – Transdisciplinary Research Center “Culture, Space and Memory”.<\/p>\n

He was director of research and training at Sistemas do Futuro<\/a> and manager of the Mu.SA<\/a> – Museum Sector Alliance project on behalf of ICOM Portugal. He is a member of the SPECTRUM PT<\/a>project and is responsible in Portugal for the dissemination and translation of the SPECTRUM standard, and is currently participating in the translation project for version 5 of the standard.<\/p>\n

Since 2016 and until 2022, he has been a member of the board of CIDOC<\/a> (ICOM’s International Committee for Documentation) as a regular member and then editor. He is currently co-responsible for the working group on Exhibition and Performance Documentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
