In this sense, the aim of this session&#8217;s papers is to discuss how school historical knowledge has been mobilized inside and outside the classroom to deal with the tensions and demands of the present time, namely due to the contexts of migratory and environmental crises, increased cases of racism and xenophobia that pose various challenges for the educational community, including the management of increasingly multicultural spaces.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Name of the speakers and their paper titles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ivan Luis Lima Cavalcanti (FLUP-UP \/CITCEM &#8211; FCT Fellow.
