{"id":9179,"date":"2023-01-11T18:27:26","date_gmt":"2023-01-11T18:27:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/citcem.org\/eventos\/researchers-from-citcem-and-santa-casa-da-misericordia-do-porto-present-three-virtual-exhibitions-dedicated-to-rua-das-flores\/"},"modified":"2023-02-19T19:05:47","modified_gmt":"2023-02-19T19:05:47","slug":"researchers-from-citcem-and-santa-casa-da-misericordia-do-porto-present-three-virtual-exhibitions-dedicated-to-rua-das-flores","status":"publish","type":"eventos","link":"https:\/\/citcem.org\/en\/events\/researchers-from-citcem-and-santa-casa-da-misericordia-do-porto-present-three-virtual-exhibitions-dedicated-to-rua-das-flores\/","title":{"rendered":"Researchers from CITCEM and Santa Casa da Miseric\u00f3rdia do Porto present three virtual exhibitions dedicated to &#8220;Rua das Flores"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"news-text\">\n<p>In the context of the International Day of Monuments and Sites 2022, CITCEM and Santa Casa da Miseric\u00f3rdia do Porto are presenting to the public a set of three virtual exhibitions designed in the context of the cycle of events celebrating the 500th anniversary of Rua das Flores.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibitions will be available on the Google Arts &amp; Culture platform as of April 28th, on the webpage of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto.<\/p>\n<p>The narratives of the three exhibitions are complementary to each other. Resulting from a curatorial work based on visual material that, for the most part, was produced for this purpose, the three virtual exhibitions rehearse a polysemic reading of Rua das Flores. From the contemporary, the visitor is invited to look at the Street in detail &#8211; online or offline &#8211; through the deconstruction of temporal layers.<\/p>\n<p>In &#8220;Rua das Flores I. Uses&#8221; focuses on the street as &#8220;Creation&#8221;, a space of different &#8220;Uses&#8221; and &#8220;Mutations&#8221;. &#8220;Rua das Flores II. Materials and Shapes&#8221; shows how the street was made and is continuously transformed from &#8220;Materials. Shapes. Textures. Colors.&#8221; Finally, in &#8220;Rua das Flores III. Significances&#8221; shows other historical layers that marked this very determinant artery of the urban fabric of the Historic Center of Porto. Therefore, &#8220;Meanings. Experiences.
