A specialist in Medieval and Renaissance Portuguese Literature, he is the author of a vast body of work, among which we can highlight the many works dedicated to Gil Vicente and Bernardim Ribeiro.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our first book of chivalry, entitled<em>Chronica do Emperador Clarimundo, donde os reys <\/em> de<em>Portugal descememem <\/em>(Jo\u00e3o de Barros 1496-1570), was first published in 1522.
