Production and Commerce in Europe, 1100-1550"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"news-text\">\n<p>RiMS &#8211; Research in Medieval Studies aims to present the latest scientific advances and discuss innovative approaches in medievalism at the international level.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first session of this initiative (November 26 and 27) will be on the dynamics between production and commerce. Factors such as technical and technological advancement or the sharpening of the production sector in the development of mercantile networks, economic markets, or trade networks will be analyzed for various regions of Europe in an extended chronology.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Production<\/em><em> and Commerce in Europe, 1100-1550<\/em> has as guest organizer Carsten Jahnke (Copenhagen) and as keynote Bas van Bavel (Utrecht).
