Crossing Seas, Crossing Cultures<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto will host the\u00a011th<\/sup> SSCLE Quadrennial Conference<\/strong>\u00a0between 29th<\/sup>\u00a0June and 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0July 2026.<\/p>\n

The Society for the Study of the Crusades and the Latin East (SSCLE<\/a>) is a major international organisation of academics and researchers dedicated to the study of the medieval Crusades.<\/p>\n

The 11th<\/sup> Quadrennial Conference, titled Crossing Seas, Crossing Cultures<\/em>, is the society’s premier international meeting. It will gather over 200 experts from more than 30 countries to discuss medieval history, the Crusades, and the Latin East.<\/p>\n

The SSCLE conference will be in a hybrid form \u2013 that is, in-person and online. Participation is restricted to registered conference attendees.<\/p>\n
