Description<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

The aim of this Conference is to bring together specialists from several fields (literature, culture, linguistics, translation, teaching and teachers training) whose studies are related to Hispanic studies, to Spanish or the other languages \u200b\u200bof Spain, as well as to their cross-cultural representations, in the Portuguese context. This first edition is held also as a tribute to Professor Maria de Lurdes Correia Fernandes, specialist in \u200b\u200bculture at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto, who has recently retired. <\/p>\n

Submitted papers must be connected to the following thematic areas:<\/p>\n

1) Reception of Spanish or Latin American authors, works, movements or trends (in literary, cultural, linguistic, philosophical or spiritual fields).<\/p>\n

2) Spanish, Latin American, Galician, Catalan and Basque linguistic, literary or cultural studies in Portugal.<\/p>\n

3) Aspects of Spanish teacher training in Portugal.<\/p>\n

4) Contrastive linguistics Spanish\/other languages \u200b\u200bof Spain – European Portuguese angles.<\/p>\n

5) General or specialized translation perspectives and difficulties (Spanish\/other languages \u200b\u200bof Spain – European Portuguese or European Portuguese – Spanish\/other languages \u200b\u200bof Spain).<\/p>\n

Abstract<\/strong>: should not exceed 300 words and should include a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 keywords<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Biographical note<\/strong>: should not exceed 150 words and should be sent together with the abstract, in the same file.<\/p>\n

Registration:<\/strong> participants without communication: 20\u20ac; participants with communication: 40\u20ac. In the case of co-authored papers, each author must pay the registration fee.<\/p>\n
