Antía Tacón is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).

She holds a PhD in Literature and Culture Studies (2023, Extraordinary Award) from the same university, with a thesis entitled “Dramaturgas del siglo xvii: estudio de los personajes de la comedia nueva”.

She has published several articles and book chapters on Spanish and Portuguese women writers of the Modern Age.

She is currently working on the project “Literature in Spanish in Portuguese women’s convents (17th-18th centuries): literary sociability and Iberian cultural intersections” (Xunta de Galicia, ED481B_032), which involves research stays at the University of Lisbon (01/10/2024 – 30/09/2025) and the University of Porto (01/10/2025 – 30/09/2026).
