
Doctoral candidate in History (2020-), Master in History (2015-2018), Master in Letters (2018-2021) by the Postgraduate Programs of the Faculty of Sciences and Letters (UNESP/Assis), graduated in History (2011-2014) and Letters (2015-2018) from the same institution. I took the Specializations in: Teaching of Sociology (2021-2022) at the State University of Londrina (UEL), in Didactic and Pedagogical Training for Distance Learning Courses (2019-2021) of the existing agreement between the Virtual University of São Paulo (UNIVESP) and UNESP, Applied Human and Social Sciences and the World of Work (2022) and Languages, its Technologies and the World of Work (2022) of the existing agreement between the Federal University of Piauí and the Secretariat of Basic Education (SEB) of the Ministry of Education (MEC). I developed a scientific initiation research with FAPESP scholarship where I worked on the project ‘The Portuguese colonial policy and the occupation of Mozambique (1890 – 1910)’. I carried out the following project at the Masters’ level in History with the title ‘Portugal in Africa: continuity and ruptures in the colonization of Mozambique (1875 – 1926)’ with a CNPq grant, and the research at the Masters’ level in Letters ‘The African: literary, historical, and social dilemmas in a Mozambican newspaper (1908-1919)’. I am developing a PhD level research in History with the title ‘Da Chibata ao Chibalo: land, work, and colonization in Angola (1875-1930)’. I am a member of the Núcleo de História Econômica of the Faculdade de Ciências e Letras (UNESP/Assis), of the Núcleo Interdisciplinar de Estudos Africanos e Afro-Brasileiros (UNESP/Assis), of the group Religiões e Trajetórias das Experiências Missionárias em África: Arquivos, Acervos e Pesquisas hosted in the Escola de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas (UNIFESP), of the Núcleo de História da África Contemporânea (UNIFESP) and of the group Economia e Política dos Impérios Ibéricos (sécs. XV-XX centuries) of the Jaime Cortesão Chair (FFLCH/USP). I was editor-in-chief of the journal Faces da História – Revista Discente do Programa de Pós-Graduação de História UNESP-Assis (ISSN: 2358-3878) in the year 2017 and currently I am part of the Editorial Board of this journal. I am part of the management team of the State WG on the History of Africa (ANPUH/SP), in the years 2016-2018 I held the position of Second Secretary and in the biennium 2018-2020 I hold the position of First Secretary, a position I kept in the biennium 2020-2022. I have experience in the areas of African History, Contemporary History, and Political Theory. I work with the themes of colonialism, imperialism, neocolonialism, the press in Africa, assimilation, political and colonial discourse.
