Biographical note

He works at the interface between History and International Relations with a focus on cultural heritage. He is the leader of the Cnpq research group – Heritage and International Relations. Researcher at LAPA – UFJF’s Heritage Laboratory and collaborator at CITCEM – Transdisciplinary Research Center “Culture, Space and Memory” at the University of Porto (ULP). He is currently a professor of Cultural Heritage in the History course at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and teaches in the Graduate Program of the same university. Coordinates the Sérgio Vieira de Mello Chair (CSVM/UFJF) Management (2022-2023). He coordinates the Specialization course in History and Culture in Contemporary Brazil (Ead) at CEAD-UFJF (2022-2024). He has experience in the field of Political History and Cultural Property with emphasis on Cultural Heritage, working mainly on the following topics: heritage and soft power; cultural property; illicit trafficking of cultural property and criminogenic collectibles; world heritage; heritage education; political history of the Brazilian right and Integralism.
