Biographical note

She has a Master’s degree in Art History in the area of heritage and restoration, with a thesis on the architecture of the Douro estates, and a PhD in Museology, whose research topic is the classified landscape of the Douro and the challenges of managing this heritage.
She is coordinator of the Museology Services of the Douro Museum, since 2006, and researcher at CITCEM – FLUP. Member of the Board of Directors of ICOMOS-PT.
He has published several books and articles on Douro heritage and its history, focusing his research on architectural heritage and rural landscape, particularly the heritage associated with winemaking. He was part of the team responsible for the candidacy of the Alto Douro Wine Region as a World Heritage Site.
