Marisa Pereira Faria dos Santos
Biographical note

Marisa Pereira Santos has a PhD in Heritage Studies – Art History (FLUP), with the thesis “Silence… a Foz vai doirando lentamente…” Territory, Devotion and Image, supported by FCT (SFRH/BD/145807/2019) and supervised by Prof. Dr. Ana Cristina de Sousa. He dedicates himself to studies in the fields of Art History, Iconography, Territory, Photography and Heritage. Currently she is a senior technician in the project “Hereditas – Atlas of the Cultural Landscape of Guimarães”, promoted by the Guimarães City Hall.
She is a trainer in the University Studies Program for Seniors at FLUP, where she teaches the subjects of Decorative Arts (in partnership with Master Diana Felícia); Porto: Territory, Devotions and Images and Religious Architecture in the West. Promoted, in partnership with Master Cátia Oliveira, the PRR training – Community Involvement in the valorization of local heritage (São Pedro da Afurada and São João Batista da Foz do Douro parishes).
