Biographical note

Francesco Renzi holds a PhD in History from the University of Bologna “Alma Mater Studiorum” (2013). He worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Leiden University-Historical Institute and at the University of Porto (CITCEM-Bolseiro FCT). Since March 2019 he works as a Researcher at the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) at CEHR, the Center for Religious History Studies (http://icm.ft.lisboa.ucp.pt/site/custom/template/ucptpl_fac.asp?sspageid=1133&artigoID=5484&lang=1). He is also a Collaborator at CITCEM (https://www.citcem.org/investigador/613). His main research interest is the history of the Catholic Church in Italy and the Iberian Peninsula between the 11th and 13th centuries.
