André M. Rodrigues is a researcher at the Laboratoire de Médiévistique Occidentale de Paris (LaMOP) and at the Centre for Transdisciplinary Research Culture, Space and Memory (CITCEM). He completed his BA in History (2018) and MA in Medieval Studies (2020), both at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. During his research, focused on the Late Middle Ages, he studied the clerics of the chapels of the Portuguese royal family, with emphasis on the case of the confessors. Currently he is doing a joint PhD in History between the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto and the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, during which he will study the Portuguese cardinals between the 14th and 16th centuries.
