On December 12, 2025, the book ” Lourinhã: Do senhorio ao património histórico” was launched in the Salão Nobre of Lourinhã Town Hall.

The work was the result of a partnership between Lourinhã City Council, OPCTJ – Association of the Order of the Poor Knights of the Temple of Jerusalem / Order of the Templars Museum – MOT and CITCEM – Transdisciplinary Research Center “Culture, Space and Memory” of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto.

Authored by Paula Pinto Costa, Joana Lencart and Maria Leonor Botelho, the publication takes the reader to the municipality of Lourinhã, with a special focus on the castle and the Templar Church of Santa Maria do Castelo. Under the historical rigor that characterizes the work of the researchers, the work is available in digital format.
