Launching of the 12th Volume of the Luso-Brazilian Collection Information Management, Lusophony and Digital Culture
On May 17th, at 5pm, at the Casa dos Livros, the 12th volume of the joint editorial project of the Universities of Porto and Goiás State will be launched, the Luso-Brazilian Collection Information Management, Lusophony and Digital Culture.
The presentation will be conducted by Luís Borges Gouveia, Coordinator of CITCEM’s Information, Communication, and Digital Culture Group.
Initiated its publication in 2009, with the purpose of making known research carried out in cooperation or separately in the Luso-Brazilian space on strategic governance, clusters, business networks and environment, the Coletânea Luso-Brasileira has as organizers Armando Malheiro da Silva, Carla Conti de Freitas, Francisco Alberto Severo de Almeida, Mário José Baptista Franco and José Carlos Gentili.
According to José Carlos Gentili, “this Portuguese-Brazilian collection has the transoceanic ability to project to the world of artificial intelligence, to the universe of globalization, to the instantaneousness of communications, the intellectual creations of a plethora of thinkers and scholars, D ́Aquém and Além-mar, Lusophones, brothered in the magic wake of Lusophony, since Brazil and Portugal have deep roots, which are fed with the sap of fraternity, a common language and peace, which govern the countries in the concert of civilizational development.”
