Guest speaker: Enrico Veneziani (U. Porto, CITCEM)

Enrico Veneziani is an FCT scholarship holder and researcher at the Center for Transdisciplinary Research on Culture, Space and Memory (CITCEM-UP), with the project “The Pope’s men. Papal legates, judges delegate, and representatives in the Iberian Penin- sula (XI-XIII centuries)”. He specializes in ecclesiastical history between the 11th and 13th centuries, with a special interest in papal history, the 11th century reformation, and the Abbey of Montecassino.

The seminars on Sources from Foreign Archives for the Study of Portuguese History are free to attend. They aim to encourage undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students, as well as researchers and teachers, to use documentation accessible in archives and libraries outside Portugal.
