The X CITCEM Meeting, whose theme will be Culturas D’Água: Heritage, Environment, and Society, has already been scheduled for November 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.

This 10th edition of the meeting will take place at the Casa dos Livros (https://wp.letras.up.pt/casadoslivros/) for four days of reflection on the Water Cultures, and will focus on the diachronic study of coastal and riverfronts, based on environmental concerns and the appreciation of human relations with the oceans, seas, rivers, and their ecosystems. It is intended that Water Cultures be observed, in their diversity, from a multi-scale analysis, in different chronologies and spaces, desirably from an inter- and transdisciplinary perspective. The last day of the event will be energized by Rio Neiva – Association for the Defense of the Environment(https://rioneiva.com/).
