Webinar | Presentation of the Lusophone Platform for Memory and Oral History and the Guidelines for Oral History Archives

On July 13, at 6:00 p.m. (Portugal) and 2:00 p.m. (Brazil), there will be a public presentation of the Lusophone Platform for Memory and Oral History and the document *Oral History Archives: Guidelines for Conducting Interviews*.

The Lusophone Platform for Memory and Oral History aims to bring together researchers, institutions, archives, and projects from Portuguese-speaking countries in a shared space for cooperation, resource sharing, the promotion of initiatives, and the development of collaborative projects, thereby strengthening the cohesion of the Lusophone community dedicated to memory and oral history.

The document *Oral History Archives: Guidelines for Conducting Interviews*, developed by the *Memory for All* program, HTC – History, Territories, and Communities / NOVA FCSH, the Getulio Vargas Foundation (CPDOC), BAD, and Sistemas do Futuro, will also be presented. This guide brings together technical, archival, and ethical recommendations to support the organization, preservation, and access to oral and audiovisual interviews in archives, libraries, museums, universities, local governments, and community projects.

These initiatives strengthen international cooperation, enhance the value of documentary heritage, and promote best practices in the preservation and dissemination of oral histories.
