Research in the Middle Ages VI - Research projects: realities and possibilities
Following on from the workshops held in the five previous editions of “Investigating the Middle Ages”, this year’s meeting was conceived taking into account the reality of the growth that research projects in Medieval Studies have experienced, albeit timidly.
This meeting will bring together leaders and researchers from projects that are underway and/or about to begin, with the aim of disseminating and discussing the type of research that is being carried out in the Portuguese UIs where projects in the areas of History, Art History, Archaeology, Philosophy and Literature are taking place.
In what is intended to be a fruitful and participatory working day, brief presentations of all the research projects currently underway in Portugal, whether with FCT funding or other competitive funding, or with European funding, should give rise to broader debates, not only on the possibilities of research into the Middle Ages in Portugal, through funded projects, but also on the paths of that same research and its own requirements.
