The session Introduction to Research Data Management: Principles and Best Practices aims to introduce the fundamental principles of research data management, addressing its importance throughout the data lifecycle. Guidelines and good practices related to the organization, documentation, storage, preservation and sharing of data will be presented, with an emphasis on the quality, security and reproducibility of science. The session aims to empower researchers and students to adopt more structured approaches in line with the principles of open science, promoting efficient and sustainable management of their research data.
