III Marão Road Colloquium
The III Marão Road Colloquium – Population and communication routes throughout History will take place on April 29th and 30th, in the auditorium of Casa do Povo da Campeã, Vila Real, also broadcasted online through the YouTube channel of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB): https://bit.ly/2N3mVte
As in the two previous editions, this Colloquium will feature several experts, scholars, and researchers who will share their knowledge about the history and heritage of the Serra do Marão and surrounding regions and debate with all present some of the current issues on the preservation and enhancement of material and cultural heritage, with emphasis on the road heritage.
As part of the Colloquium’s program, there will also be a Concert by Tuna da Carvalhais, on Saturday, April 29th, at 9:00 PM, and a Cultural Walk through the Veiga da Campeã road heritage, on Sunday, April 30th, at 9:00 AM.
