80 YEARS ON: THE MARKS OF THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR FROM AN INTERDISCIPLINARY PERSPECTIVE
April 1, 2019 marks 80 years since the end of the Spanish Civil War. For this reason, the Spanish Studies Area of FLUP’s Department of Portuguese Studies and Romance Studies is organizing a series of events with a dual purpose: to commemorate the historical and social consequences that this conflict had on contemporary Spanish history and to promote reflection on the persistence of its marks today, which are still very much present in art, cinema, photography and literature.
