The Torre de Moncorvo Town Hall held the 5th Meeting on Jewish History and Culture on the 17th and 18th of July.

Over the course of the two days, many approaches were made to the theme of Judaism, with a panel of illustrious speakers, including Professor João Medina, Professor Augusto Monteiro, Professor Norberto Cunha, Dr. Adília Fernandes, Architect José da Conceição Afonso and Dr. Jorge Martins.
Also included in the program were three book presentations: “Jews and Nazis” by João Medina, “Jews – the Navarros of Lagoaça” by Filipe Pinheiro de Campos and António Maria de Assis and “A Confitente” by Jorge Martins.
