Workshop “GothicScripts in Practice: History, Styles and Practice “
The workshop “Gothic Scripts in Practice: History, Styles and Practice” will be held on October 28 at 1:30 p.m. in the Department of German Studies, as part of the Master’s in Transnational German Studies, co-funded by the European Union . The workshop will be given by the artist Gui Menga, and is organized by J. Carlos Teixeira (FLUP/CITCEM/CETAPS) in collaboration with the DEG and the TNGS programme. Entry requires registration, so only 25 participants will be admitted (write directly to jcteixeira@letras.up.pt).

As part of the Master’s Degree in Transnational German Studies, co-funded by the European Union, the open class “Negotiations: an introduction to a most needed contemporary skill” will be held on October 29th at 5pm in the Department of German Studies. The lecture will be given by Professor Tiago Lopes (Universidade Lusíada/ISCSP), and is organized by J. Carlos Teixeira (FLUP/CITCEM/CETAPS) in collaboration with the DEG and the TNGS programme. Open course “Mittelhochdeutsch: Vertiefung” As part of the Master’s Degree in Transnational German Studies, co-financed by the European Union, the course “Mittelhochdeutsch: Vertiefung” will be held from November 18 to 21 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Department of German Studies. The course will be taught by Dr. Ina Spetzke (Uni. Mannheim) and is organized by J. Carlos Teixeira (FLUP/CITCEM/CETAPS) and Mafalda Gomes (FLUP/CITCEM/CETAPS) in collaboration with the DEG and the TNGS programme. Admission is free and no registration is required. Prerequisites: basic knowledge of Middle High German and advanced knowledge of German.
