The call is open for the Colloquium “The Arts in the County of Portucalense and the Reign of King Afonso Henriques (868-1185)“, which will take place in Guimarães on October 30 and 31, 2026.

The Colloquium, whose Scientific Coordinators are Mário Jorge BARROCA (FLUP / CITCEM), Paulo Almeida FERNANDES (FCSH-UNL / IHA) and Manuel Luís REAL (CITCEM), is part of the Commemorations of the 900th Anniversary of the Battle of S. Mamede (1128-2028).

There will be four conferences (by invitation) and ten free papers. The latter will be selected from the abstracts submitted on the https://diaumdeportugal.guimaraes.pt platform by July 31, 2026. The list of free papers selected for presentation will be communicated to the respective authors by September 15, 2026.
