Title/General theme of the session: “The changing body – health and mortality: a methodological perspective”
Session Summary: Today we live in a world that has been radically transformed by the achievements in health, especially the extraordinary reduction in infant mortality and fertility, and the significant gains in life expectancy. At the same time, we are faced with global risks, such as the SARS-COV-2 pandemic. This situation has aroused interest in the history of health. With this ICO, we intend to publicize the research carried out in this field by some members of the Populations and Health Group, as well as some international researchers who collaborate with CITCEM.
